Flag Day 2012



                                                 FLAG DAY CELEBRATION   12:00 Noon
                                               THURSDAY, JUNE 14, 2012
                                           THE INTERNATIONAL ROCK-A-BILLY HALL OF FAME
                                                105 N. CHURCH STREET
                                           DOWNTOWN, JACKSON, TN.
 
National Anthem and My Country Tis of Thee to be sung by Darian Krimm.
       He will give a brief history of these two famous songs.
 
Boy Scouts from Bells, Tn. will Present The Colors.
 
America the Beautiful to be sung by Darien Taylor and Rita, with a brief
       history of this song.
 
The Ragged Old Flag will be recited by Russell Keaton.
 
A United States Flag, presented to the HOF by Congressman John Tanner,
       and once hung over the US Capital will be flown on this day.
 
100 Freedom Certificates will be awarded to veterans of all wars.  These certificates
        were signed by Johnny Cash, General William Westmoreland,
        Admiral Thomas Moorer, and Captain Red McDaniel.
 
        General William Westmoreland was Commander of the US Troops in Viet Nam
        Admiral Thomas Moorer, was Head of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, under
               President John F. Kennedy
       Captain Red McDaniel was a Navy Pilot, shot down, and POW for six years.
       Johnny Cash, a Patriotic Country Singer.
 
Don Hill, cameraman from WBBJ TV, filmed videos made by these distinguished
      persons, and they will be shown inside the Hall of Fame.
